According to HBR Consulting’s 2017 Law Department Survey, in-house comp continues to rise – up 3.5% across all levels.
That’s on top of a 3.7% bump last year. Interestingly, CLOs, who on average pull down about $200,000 more than GCs, according to HBR, fell back a bit while GCs moved ahead. (Titles apparently do matter.) See the chart, below, for more information and find the full survey at www.hbrconsulting.com.
