Loeb & Loeb Beijing Office To Open In Spring 2009

Loeb & Loeb LLP has announced that the firm will open a Beijing office in Spring 2009 to service a rapidly growing number of Asian clients, particularly in corporate transactions. Securities lawyer Eric Doering, who will be one of the first attorneys in Loeb & Loeb's China office, recently joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate Department.He will work in the New York office until the Beijing office opens. Mr. Doering advises clients on general corporate and securities matters.

Before joining Loeb & Loeb, Mr. Doering served as vice president-general counsel and secretary for Loeb & Loeb client Tiens Biotech Group, Inc. (USA).

Loeb & Loeb's Beijing office will continue the firm's work for U.S. clients who are doing business in China and Chinese clients with investments in the U.S. or who wish to list their companies on American stock exchanges. Mitch Nussbaum, partner and chair of Loeb's Securities Practice Group, has developed a global securities practice, and to date he has helped more than 50 Chinese companies go public in the United States.
