What is your proudest achievement?

I was blessed to have a loving family, and nurture four incredible children, with my husband and best friend of 31 years.

What is the most influential piece of advice (professional or personal) you have received?

The most important advice that I received as a young person, which has served me well over the years, is the value of resilience. I have learned how to give myself grace when I fall, and the importance of learning from my mistakes.

What is/are your favorite extracurricular activity/activities?

I love to travel. There is nothing more exhilarating than experiencing new cultures, visiting historical sites and engaging with nature.

Name your hometown/where you were born/where you grew up and where you live now.

I was born and raised in the Washington Heights/Inwood section of New York City, where I lived until heading off to college in Massachusetts. I stayed in NYC for law school, and relocated New Jersey after I had my first child. New Jersey has been my home ever since.

If you were not a legal professional, what other line of work would you pursue?

I would pursue a career in foreign service if I were not a legal professional.

Anything else you'd like to share?

I feel fortunate to have spent my legal career at a purpose-driven and talent-focused company like Prudential for the past 10 years. Some of my most rewarding experiences are those that allowed me to mentor and sponsor young talent across the organization in the same meaningful way that others invested in me. It has been truly gratifying to support the company’s purpose of making lives better by solving the financial challenges of our changing world, while also nurturing the careers of others.
