Inez Markovich, who chaired the banking, lending and debt restructuring practices at her last two law firms, has joined McCarter & English as a partner in Philadelphia, where she is the third new partner to arrive in two months. Markovich is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice group.
Markovich is equally comfortable and adept negotiating and documenting all kinds of loans – including commercial and industrial, asset-based, and real estate loans – as well as securitizations, equipment leases, and other commercial finance transactions, as she is at workouts, debt restructurings and bankruptcies.
She also serves as de facto general counsel to a number of entrepreneurs, emerging growth companies and other privately held entities, advising on a broad variety of general business matters.
Markovich, who is admitted in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, arrives from Philadelphia-based business boutique Spruce Law Group.
