FTI Consulting, Inc. announces the appointment of George Theocharopoulos as a managing director in the Merger Integration and Carve-outs offering within the Transactions practice of the firm’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment in New York.
Mr. Theocharopoulos’s primary focus will be in operational due diligence, synergy assessments, rapid integration and separation assessments. He has more than 20 years of M&A and operational performance improvement experience in industry and consulting and has supported clients throughout the deal lifecycle, from deal strategy and operational diligence, Day 1 planning and readiness through post-close stabilization and transformation execution

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Theocharopoulos was with RSM, leading the build-out of the synergy diligence practice for private equity clients within RSM’s financial diligence practice. He also spent more than seven years with Deloitte Consulting and KPMG, leading and supporting various global deals across industries, mainly focusing on integration and separation assessment, operating model design, and sign-to-close planning and readiness.
