With a deep knowledge of the Texas market, Devika steps into this position at an exciting time of growth for us as we establish ourselves in Houston as part of our client-focused, strategic US expansion."
"It's an honor to be appointed Managing Partner of our new Houston office," said Kornbacher. "I joined Clifford Chance to help shape the continued growth of our outstanding global Tech practice, including in the US market. One year later we've made tangible progress by expanding our team and establishing a presence in Houston to access the bevy of talent this city has to offer and serve the world-class clients that call Houston home. It has been exciting to assemble the impressive slate of our current Houston partners and I look forward to bringing my experience to this new leadership position to support our business, clients and colleagues in the fast-growing technology, energy, and healthcare and life sciences and beyond."
