Darius Johnson is appointed as managing director to FTI’s people and change practice

FTI Consulting, Inc. announces the appointment of Darius Johnson as a managing director in the People & Change practice within the firm’s Strategic Communications segment. A change and transformation expert, Mr. Johnson will help organizations design and implement people-oriented strategies that accelerate the adoption of new processes, technologies and ways of working, establish inclusive cultures, build high-performing teams and enhance value creation through the execution of strategic initiatives.

Based in Houston, Mr. Johnson brings nearly 20 years of experience spanning 16 countries, four continents and multiple industry sectors, including technology, energy and telecommunications. His global experience will help clients around the world engage with and equip their people to drive productivity, performance and effectiveness.

Mr. Johnson spent more than a decade at Chevron Corporation, completing his tenure as communications advisor to the chief information officer. Following Chevron, he joined Program Planning Professionals Ltd. in London, where he built a global change management practice, supporting clients through technology transformations and M&A scenarios. He then returned to industry, joining British Telecom, where he worked in cost transformation and ultimately led HR performance and transformation. Most recently, while completing the INSEAD Global Executive MBA program in Singapore, Mr. Johnson co-founded anyana ChangeCo, where he designed and led experiential workshops for leadership teams and senior executives to build change management and innovation capability.
