FTI Consulting Inc. announced the appointment of Jamie Singer as a Managing Director in the Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Communications group within the firm’s Strategic Communications segment, further enhancing one of the leading global cybersecurity communications offerings in the industry.
As one of the nation’s most sought-after and renowned experts on cybersecurity crisis communications, Ms. Singer has counseled Fortune 500 companies and public-sector organizations through some of the most high-profile and largest cybersecurity crises of the past decade. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Singer held the role as Executive Vice President and Director of Data Security, Privacy and Crisis Communications at Resolute Strategic Services, where she led the CyberStrategies division. Prior to Resolute, Ms. Singer was Senior Vice President and a senior lead in Edelman’s U.S. Data Security & Privacy Group.
In her role at FTI Consulting, Ms. Singer will focus on further expanding the firm’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Communications offering globally and work closely with leading cybersecurity law firms, insurance companies and forensics providers to assist organizations with strategic communications and reputation management services before, during and after significant cyber incidents.

Ms. Singer’s appointment is the latest in a series of investments in the fast-growing Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Communications group, which is part of the Crisis & Litigation practice within the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting. Over the past few months, FTI Consulting hired Sara Sendek, the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency’s former head of communications, as well as Adriana Villasenor, the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center’s former Chief Marketing Officer.
