With nearly two decades representing public and privately held companies, Richard N. Hudock has joined McCarter & English as a partner in the Corporate, Securities & Business Transactions group.
Hudock focuses his practice on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity, and general commercial matters on behalf of companies in the technology, life sciences and chemicals sectors. He will be resident in the firm’s Philadelphia office.
Prior to joining McCarter, Hudock was a member of a business boutique law firm in Philadelphia and former Executive Team member there. Prior to that, he was assistant general counsel and corporate secretary for Arkema Inc., a publicly held global specialty chemicals company. Before that, he had been a partner at Dilworth Paxson; corporate counsel for Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., which invests in emerging and growth stage technology and healthcare companies; and assistant general counsel of Fiberlink Communications Corp., an emerging growth software provider acquired by IBM.
Before entering private practice, Hudock served as a law clerk for two chief federal judges in Philadelphia.
