Clifford Chance advises on US$126 million term loan facility in Peru

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised Banco Santander, S.A. as Sole Lead Arranger and Bookrunner, and JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., Banco de Crédito e Inversiones S.A., Citibank, N.A., ICBC Peru Bank and Banco Internacional del Perú S.A.A., as lenders, in connection with a US$126 million term loan facility to Compañía Minera Raura S.A. (Raura).

The proceeds of the loan were used to refinance certain existing indebtedness.

The Clifford Chance team comprised counsel Alberto Haito, associate Joyce Moore and foreign law clerk Juan Pablo Avila.

Clifford Chance advises on many landmark transactions in Latin America, recently advising FDN in connection with an e-bus financing in Bogotá, Colombia as well as advising on a tender offer, consent solicitation and notes offering by Peruvian Consorcio Transmantaro S.A.
