What kind of race is it? - Law Technology Digest

Stephen Abram takes a tweet from Moritz Kremb on which AI models are best for which tasks. My wife would take great offense at Stephen's first comment, while I would agree, "Chatbots are like seasons in Grey's Anatomy: there are way too many of them," despite the fact that it is true (well I would agree to the fact that there are too many chatbots, not necessarily the Grey's Anatomy part). Back to Moritz's original tweet, he writes, "...the models are racing ever faster to outcompete each other As users we benefit from this competition." Normally I agree that competition is a good thing that we benefit from. I guess this morning I'm feeling the competition in AI is too fast and that in some ways we're racing into the unknown or that there are many ways this can be viewed as a race to the bottom. So I place this in your brain to ponder - what kind of race is this really? Read more at Stephen's Lighthouse: Neuron: Which AI Chatbot Should I Use And When?
