Jeff Brandt, Editor of PinHawk's Law Technology Digest Newsletter, talks about how Gen AI is becoming more popular as the years go on.
Stephen Embry and Hugo Guzman must be wrong as they author articles that fly in the face of the AI tsunami that is supposedly sweeping legal. Having visited CES, LegalWeek and the ABA TechShow, Stephen writes, "At all three conferences, there was considerable discussion of Gen AI and the predicted revolutionary changes it portends. At LegalWeek and TechShow, the clear message was that Gen AI will disrupt legal as nothing before and that lawyers and law firms are rushing to adopt and use the technology like nothing ever before." But then at "a conference of top trial lawyers (and only lawyers)," Stephen says a dose of reality occurred (maybe he just had a stroke?). Hugo starts out with what must be a failed study by Consilio, because according to it 63% of in-house lawyers said "they are waiting for more training on gen AI before adopting it." Clearly these lawyers don't know what they are saying. They better put their helmets back on. They're gona get thrown out if they don't think right. Repeat after me, "AI: this is the way."
