Here is a pair of posts warning that if you aren't moving forward with your cybersecurity efforts, you are surely falling behind. First we have Disney who is packing in the towel with Slack after the bad guys exposed "1TB of confidential messages and files posted to the company's internal communication channels." The second post deals with the world's "largest recorded payments in a ransomware case," healthcare solutions provider, Cencora paid out $75 million! (I bet their cybersecurity insurance has gone up!) The article notes, "The hackers originally demanded a staggering $150 million ransom, a figure that was ultimately negotiated down to $75 million."
