175 zettabytes of digital data - Law Technology Digest

I would argue that 175 zettabytes is a truly an incomprehensible number. This post attempts to make it relatable by saying that "stored on DVDs, would create a stack tall enough to circle the earth 222 times." In looking for a photo to put with this post, the first Google entry described it as "precisely 175 trillion USB sticks with a 1GB capacity." I'm not sure either of those descriptions help much. But 175 zettabytes is the amount of electronically stored information the International Data Corporation estimates we will have created by 2025.
