As we have learned, according to the ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs and the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, more than 45% of attorneys experience depression during careers in the legal field. Of those individuals, nearly 12% of them reported having suicidal thoughts and others in the legal professions were considered problem drinkers. The study was led by Patrick Krill, founder and principal of Krill Strategies, featured in this THRIVE webcast hosted by CCBJ back in 2020. Featured are leaders that are driving cultural change to drive down her numbers.
