WolfBlock Partner Named ChairOf ABA Center For Human Rights

Jerome J. Shestack, a partner at WolfBlock and co-chair of the firm's Business Litigation Practice Group, has been appointed chairman of the American Bar Association's (ABA) Center for Human Rights by ABA President Dennis Archer.

The Center for Human Rights coordinates many human rights activities, including sending observers to human rights trials, rule of law interventions in cases of human rights abuses, support of human rights treaties and liaisons with other human rights organizations.

Mr. Shestack is a former president of the ABA and served as U.S. Ambassador to the UN Commission on Human Rights during the Carter Administration. He is a counselor to the American Society of International Law and a commissioner of the International Commission of Jurists and honorary president of the International League for Human Rights. He has written widely on human rights issues.


Diana C. Liu, a partner in WolfBlock's Real Estate Practice Group, has been elected a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
