Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of partner Lawrence (Larry) Simon to the New York office where he joins the Real Estate department. Simon represents a broad range of clients who buy, sell, develop, invest in and lease real estate.
“Larry is well-versed in the complex issues that impact the real estate market,” said Raymond Sanseverino, chair of Loeb & Loeb’s Real Estate department. “Bringing on an attorney of Larry’s caliber and experience reinforces our reputation as the go-to firm for sophisticated real estate transactions.”
Simon handles acquisitions and sales of real estate, represents both landlords and tenants in office, retail and warehouse leases, and advises on the structuring of complex real estate transactions. Simon represents owners and operators of properties containing more than four million square feet of space in the New York Metropolitan area.
“I’ve known and respected the Loeb & Loeb team for many years from across the table,” said Simon. “The firm’s reputation in the New York and national real estate markets is unmatched and I am proud to join the team.”
Simon joins the firm from Morrison Cohen. He follows Andrew Arsiotis, Stephen Budow, Henry Zangara, Michael Martell, Matthew Friedman, Steven Rockoff and Michael Barry who joined Loeb & Loeb from Morrison Cohen in March, and Joshua Saidlower and Michael Weinstein who also joined Loeb & Loeb from Morrison Cohen this month.
“We are thrilled to welcome Larry to the New York office, and to continue to grow our firm in such an important market,” said Laurie Ruckel, managing partner of Loeb & Loeb’s New York office.
Simon earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.A. from the City University of New York, Queens College.
