Zapproved LLC announced the addition of David P. Smith as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer, Tom Pickett as Chief Financial Officer, and Susy Dunn as Chief People Officer. The executives join Zapproved’s rapidly scaling organization to assist in driving the company’s product and infrastructure growth.

Smith will lead Zapproved’s engineering team, drawing on his 25 years of experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available systems for companies including Wolters Kluwer, ACTIVE Network, and Hilton Hotels. His expertise in enterprise-class architecture, security, and large-scale team management will support the expansion of Zapproved’s ediscovery suite capabilities.
Pickett brings over 20 years experience in senior finance and operations roles with early stage, growth stage, and mature companies. He also has more than 9 years experience in private equity and public accounting. His most recent role was serving as CFO and Compliance Officer for Curvature, a global IT products and services company. His professional accomplishments include leading two financial turnarounds, raising more than $130 million in debt and equity capital for eight companies, and completing 10 acquisitions.
With 25 years of experience in business operations and human resources leadership roles within technology companies, Dunn is responsible for the people strategy, systems and company-wide initiatives that fuel Zapproved’s growth. At Zapproved, she leads the Human Resources, Information Technology, Compliance, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion teams. Dunn held executive positions at Act-On Software, Jama Software, and Jive Software and will use her deep experience to expand the collaborative, inclusive, and empowered culture at Zapproved.
