Women's Bar Sponsors Community Service Project In DC

The Women's Bar Association of Washington DC is sponsoring a community service project for members.

The event will be held on Saturday, May 15, and will begin at 9:00 a.m. and run until about 5:00 p.m. Check with the Bar Association for the specific schedule and location details.

The WBA is teaming up with A Wider Circle to conduct a beautification project at a low-income school in Southeast DC. The WBA will collect donations for A Wider Circle's Well Mother, Well Baby and Neighbor to Neighbor programs. This event kicks off a long-term partnership between the WBA and A Wider Circle.

Volunteers will meet in downtown DC and carpool or Metro to the project location.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring with them a healthy non-perishable item, a self-care item, or new cleaning supplies to benefit vulnerable residents in A Wider Circle's programs.

Members, friends and family members are welcome to this project.
