Women In E-Discovery New Jersey Chapter Announces New Board

Women in eDiscovery, a nonprofit organization that brings together women interested in technology related to the legal profession, today announced the election results for the New Jersey Chapter Board of Directors.

Chapter Director – Lisa Whipkey – manager in the discovery practice of Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP and an attorney licensed in the state of New Jersey

Assistant Chapter Director – Joan McGeough – director of relationship marketing for The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel and managing director of Marketing For Results, Unltd.

Chapter Secretary – Jen Croessmann – litigation technology manager at Day Pitney, LLP

Membership Director – Lorraine Venesky – senior manager in the document review services practice of Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP and an attorney licensed in the state of New Jersey

Meetings Co-Directors:

Michelle Kerzhner – managing director at Strategic Legal Solutions

Hannah Attermann – senior manager, Forensics & Litigation Consulting at DLA Associates

“The NJ Chapter has robust plans for this year,” new Chapter Director Whipkey stated. “The goal is to get as many women in the state of New Jersey that are involved in any aspect of eDiscovery to participate with the organization.”

Membership Director Venesky said, “Our members represent all aspects of the scope of eDiscovery, including corporate counsel, law firm partners, associates, paralegals, litigation support staff members and eDiscovery professionals – we have a very cohesive group.”

The NJ Chapter is striving to be a very active group, where members can learn and keep updated on the evolving aspects of eDiscovery and also collaborate on their own challenges. “We are a trusted circle of practitioners,” Ms. Whipkey shared. “We are here to help each other learn and grow, and to support and lead the evolution of eDiscovery.”
