WolfInstitute Seminar Will Examine New Union Tactics

The WolfInstitute has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Current Issues and Tactics in Union Organizing: Labor's Strategy for the 21st Century and How to Respond.

The program will take place on Wednesday, May 23 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the WolfInstitute Training Center, 213 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA.

This program will provide a detailed look inside the new organizing tactics and strategies unions are launching to reverse their downward membership spiral. The program will also offer suggestions for meeting and defeating this threat. Indeed, recent statistics show that unions are now winning a higher percentage of representation elections than in the past. Further, a new generation of aggressive union leaders is leading the organizing charge, and support is building in Congress to assist unions in their efforts by amending the National Labor Relations Act to eliminate secret ballot elections in organizing campaigns.

The speaker is Mark A. Fontana, WolfBlock.
