WMACCA Plans Employment Conference On April 26 In McLean, VA

The Washington, DC Metropolitan Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel this month will present its 2007 Employment Law Conference.

The event will take place on Thursday, April 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner, 1700 Tysons Boulevard, McLean, VA.

This half-day conference is designed to present new perspectives on some of today's toughest employment and labor law issues for in-house counsel and human resources professionals. This year's sessions will include: The "Bermuda Triangle of Leave Laws": The Intersection of the ADA, FMLA and Workers Compensation Laws; Recent Issues and Problems in Wage and Hour Law; California/Fourth Circuit Update - Key Developments for Companies Doing Business in California and the Fourth Circuit, and The Employee Free Choice Act: The Gathering Storm.

Speakers will include Peter Susser, Nancy Delogu, Tammy McCutcheon, Jeremy Roth, Beth Lalick and Tom Flaherty of Littler Mendelson PC.
