Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised CVC Capital Partners (CVC) on the acquisition of a majority interest in Partner in Pet Food Group (PPF).
White & Case partner Steve Worthington, who led the Firm's deal team, said: “We have supported CVC on a number of significant mandates globally in recent years. Our role advising on CVC's latest strategic investment demonstrates our global expertise and strength in private equity.”
PPF produces a full range of pet food products from 12 facilities around Europe and supplies more than 280 customers in over 35 countries, including speciality pet retailers, general food retailers, discounters and online specialists. It had revenues of approximately €800 million in 2023.
CVC will be PPF's new majority shareholder, alongside its existing investor Cinven. The new partnership will aim to accelerate the business's European expansion strategy and support PPF's objective to continuously improve the health benefits of its products.
