WESFACCA Seminar To OutlineSome Bankruptcy Law Changes

WESFACCA this month is planning a CLE seminar titled Preference Prevention & Other Bottom Line Boosters.

The program is scheduled for Wednesday, November 15 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Woodway Country Club, 540 Hoyt Street, Darien, CT. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

The session is designed for general counsels, CFOs and other corporate executives who don't yet know all the 'goodies' Congress delivered to creditors who buy from or sell to Chapter 11 debtors. Attendees will learn the lessons of Delta, Delphi and Dana and see how they can prepare their legal and accounting personnel in advance so they can cost-effectively handle practical problems such as reclaiming goods already shipped.

The speakers will be Stephen H. Gross and Garry M. Graber, partners at Hodgson Russ LLP.

For details on registration fees and CLE credits, see the Bulletin Board on The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel website at www.metrocorpcounsel.com.
