Weil is advising Howden on its acquisition of Aston Lark from Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Bowmark Capital. International insurance broking group Howden’s acquisition of U.K. commercial and private client insurance broker Aston Lark is its largest acquisition to date. The transaction will create for Howden a U.K. business managing over £6 billion of gross written premium for more than 1.7 million policyholders who are served by more than 5,000 employees from 160 locations in the U.K. and Ireland. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
