Weil represented Ardian in connection with the financing for its acquisition of Biofarma, a leading European contract development and manufacturing organization specialized in the production of nutraceuticals and cosmetics. The successful financing consisted of €345 million Senior Secured Floating Rate Notes due 2029, a €60 million super senior revolving credit facility, a bridge financing and privately-placed PIK notes. The proceeds of the financing were used to pay the purchase price of the acquisition and repay existing indebtedness of Biofarma. The offering of the Senior Secured Floating Rate Notes closed on May 20, 2022.
