Utah State Bar Association Slates Its 2007 Fall Forum

The Utah State Bar Association has scheduled its 2007 Fall Forum, a full day of CLE and networking for judges, attorneys, paralegals and companies providing services and products to the legal community.

The program will take place on Friday, November 16 from 8 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the Salt Palace, Salt Lake City, UT.

Among the CLE topics to be covered are: Tax and General Organizations Issues for the Small Business; Basic Commercial Real Estate Acquisition; Effective Use of Paralegals; Capital & Securities Implications With Small Businesses; Completing a Succession Plan; Select Intellectual Property Issues, Mistakes and Solutions - What The Business Lawyer Should Know, and Don't Become a Statistic: Keeping Stress at Bay - The Benefits of Mediation.

Among the speakers are Forrest Mosten, author, The Complete Guide to Mediation; Collin Mangrum, professor, Creighton University School of Law, and the Hon. Robert K. Hilder, 3rd Utah District Court.
