University Of Texas To Host Two-Day Bankruptcy Seminar

The University of Texas School of Law has scheduled its annual Jay L. Westbrook Bankruptcy Conference for Thursday and Friday, November 13 and 14, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas.

On Thursday, the seminar will go from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Friday it runs from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

This is a comprehensive program. Topics to be discussed include a panel discussion about recent developments around the nation, bankruptcy alternatives, where the economy is headed, bankruptcy issues in the retail sector, the art and technique of claim estimation,strategic use of involuntary bankruptcy, recent sanction decisions, a practical approach to bankruptcy tax maters, and technology and IP assets in bankruptcy.
