University Of Texas School Of Law To Explore Patent Law

On Thursday and Friday, November 13 and 14, the University Of Texas School Of Law will join with the George Mason University School of Law to present its 4th annual Advanced Patent Law Institute.

The program will be held at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office in Alexandria Virginia. It will begin at 8:45 and adjourn at 5:30 p.m. on day one and go from 8:30 a.m. until 3:05 p.m. on day two. Lunch and a luncheon presentation are included on both days.

Seminars include Disasters in Litigation: What Patent Prosecutors Could Have Done to Prevent Carnage; new USPTO appeal rules; a panel discussion about recent federal circuit and BPAI decisions on patent eligible subject matter and USPTO guidelines; patent exhaustion in light of Quanta; antitrust and SSO developments; and a judicial panel discussion about managing, hearing and trying patent cases.
