University Of Texas Law School To Present Labor And Employment Conference

The University of Texas School of Law is planning its 15th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference.

The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, May 29 and 30 at the Hyatt Regency Austin, 208 Barton Springs Road, Austin, TX. Sessions will run from 8:50 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on day one and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. on day two.

Discussion topics will include: Federal Law Cutting-Edge Update; National Labor Relations Act Update; Lessons About the Law From Outside the Law; FLSA Collective Actions; Retaliation Update; The Inexact Science of Employee Leaves of Absence; The Current State of the Law for Internet, Blogging and Email; Unfair Competition; Choice of Law: Which Law Governs When; Religious Discrimination Law, and "No Match" Letters: National Origin Discrimination in the Immigration Age.

Among the speakers will be Craig Ball, Certified Computer Forensic Examiner; the Hon Keith P. Ellison, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas; Michael McLaughlin, Dell Inc., and Mark A. Shank, K&L Gates LLP.
