Trial Attorney To Discuss Experiences

The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Henry Miller - The Trial in two locations.

The program will take place on Friday, September 7 at the Affinia Manhattan, 371 Seventh Avenue, New York City, and on Wednesday, September 12 at the Westchester Marriott, 670 White Plains Road, Tarrytown, NY. Sessions run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with registration starting at 8:30 a.m.

The featured speaker is Henry Miller, senior partner of Clark, Gagliardi & Miller, P.C. and an active plaintiff trial attorney.

Mr. Miller will cover every part of the trial. He will lecture, and where appropriate, give demonstrations. Specific discussion topics will include: the prologue, jury selection, opening (the 27 steps), direct exam, cross-examination, experts, summation, the ordeal, ethics, and surviving. The coursed materials will be drawn from Mr. Miller's book titled On Trial: Lessons From a Lifetime in the Courtroom.
