Tips On Operating A More Efficient Law Office

The Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) this month has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Scanning, Document Management and Paper Reduction Techniques for Lawyers in two locations.

The program will take place on Wednesday, March 7 at the OSBA offices, 1700 Lake Shore Drive, Columbus, OH, and on Friday, March 16 at the John S. Knight Center, 77 East Mill Street, Akron, OH. Sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This seminar explains and demonstrates how scanners can be used in the law office to lower operating costs and significantly improve efficiency. Panelists will explain how to organize and store electronic documents so any document ever sent or received can be retrieved in seconds. Attendees also will learn why Adobe Acrobat is so important to law offices and what can be done with the newest version.

Course planners are Barron K. Henley and Paul J. Unger, HMU Consulting, Inc.
