Theatrical Presentation On Historical Figure

Maxims, Monarchy & Sir Thomas More: Dilemmas, Debates, Decisions is the title of an upcoming presentation by the Pennsylvania Bar Association on Wednesday, November 12. The program will be offered in either a morning or afternoon session on that date, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and concluding at noon, or beginning at 1 p.m. and concluding at 4:30, at the CLE Conference Center, 5080 Ritter Road, Mechanicsburg, PA.

Using the theme of Sir Thomas More's clash of religious belief with the public loyalty, the issues and ideas the program will address in the play are secular problems for the secular lawyer in the secular realm. The play consequently provides a wide platform for discussion of many current questions and issues of concern to lawyers and the legal profession.

Graham Thatcher, artistic director of Periaktos Productions, will perform the role of Sir Thomas More; a panel will follow featuring such speakers as Brian T. Guthrie, Saul Ewing, LLP; Vincent L. Champion, Rhoads & Sinon, LLP; and Stephanie F. Latimore, Legislative Reference Bureau of Harrisburg.
