The Most Current Labor And Employment Law Issues Focus Of MCLE Seminar

To explain the most common labor and employment issues faced by business lawyers and in-house counsel, the MCLE has scheduled a program, Employment Law for Business Lawyers and In-House Counsel, for Thursday, January 8 from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. at the MCLE Conference Center, 10 Winter Place, Boston.

Catherine E. Reuben of Hirsch Roberts Weinstein LLP will serve as the program chair. Among the other speakers will be Kevin C. Krull, International Data Group, Inc; Alexander P. Steffan, Haemonetics Corporation; James S. Weliky, Messing, Rudavsky & Weliky, PC and Jaclyn L. Kugellof Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP.

They will review common questions and answers on important employment law topics that an employment counsel should know "off the top of his/her head;" how to avoid termination-related claims; termination from the perspective of a plaintiff's attorney, and how to analyze and document layoffs to avoid liability.
