The Bar Association Of San Francisco DiscussesTriple Bottom Line Businesses

The San Francisco Bar Association has scheduled a lunchtime CLE seminar for Thursday, July 22, titled Triple Bottom Line Entities to discuss socially responsible business entities.

It will run from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.

Jennifer Kassan, managing director ofthe Katovich Law Group and president of Community Ventures, and Janelle Orsi, The Law Office of Janelle Orsi, will discuss the following topics: business entity structure and funding alternatives for socially responsible for-profits; advising clients about forming and operating a "B Corporation"; appropriate use of L3C's - low profit limited liability companies; and unique issues for lawyers counseling social entrepreneurs.
