The State Bar of Texas this month will present a video replay of its 5th Annual Advanced In-House Counsel Course.
The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, November 30 and December 1 at the Cityplace Conference Center, 2711 North Haskell, Dallas. Sessions run from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. on day one and from 8:25 a.m. to 3 p.m. on day two.
Among the topics that the course examines are: Corporate Compliance; Requirements of Corporate Minutes; Drafting an Employee Handbook; Managing Your Career for Success in a Legal Department; Retaining Foreign Counsel in Latin America and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act; Export Control Compliance; Arbitration Clauses/Arrangements; Internal Investigations, and Best Practices for Handling Transactions.
