Texas Bar To Replay Appellate Course

The State Bar of Texas is planning a video replay of its 21st Annual Advanced Civil Appellate Practice Course.

The program is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, November 29 and 30 at the Cityplace Conference Center, 2711 North Haskell, Dallas. Sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the first day and from 8:20 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. on the second day.

Discussion topics will include: Trends in Texas Supreme Court Practice; In-House Perspectives on Hiring and Working With Appellate Lawyers; Secrets to Persuading Appellate Courts to Rule in Your Favor; Voir Dire & Jury Selection: Scope of Examination and Error Preservation; Constitutionality of Punitive Damages and Effect on the Jury Charge; New Jury Charge Problems, and Hot Topics: Keller Update, Alternative Bond Rules, IP and Trade Secrets Appeals, Arbitration Appeals and Challenges, and Insurance.
