Texas Bar To Present Advanced Civil Trial Course

The State Bar of Texas will present its annual Advanced Civil Trial course on Wednesday through Friday, November 12 to 14, at the Westin Oaks hotel in Houston.

This three-day comprehensive seminar will include a judges' panel and breakfast and lunch on all three days. Among the many topics being offered are a luncheon presentation titled The Noble Lawyer and the Search for the Lost Ark: Retaining Integrity in the Legal World to Come presented by William J. Chriss, executive director and dean of Curriculum and Instruction, the Texas Center for Legal Ethics and Professionalism; Working with In-house Counsel: Roles and Expectations with Sylvia A. Barnett of Susman Godfrey; and Top Ten Current Issues Litigators Need to Know about Employment Law with Ian Scharfman of The Scharfman Law Firm.
