Texas Bar Slates ReplayOf Advanced Business Law Course

The State Bar of Texas this month plans a video replay of its 4th Annual Advanced Business Law Course.

The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, December 7 and 8 at the Cityplace Conference Center, Dallas. Sessions run from 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on the first day and from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the second day.

Issues examined by panelists at this program include: Texas Business Organizations Code: Overview, Update and Advanced Problems; Texas Margin Tax; Director Liability and Responsibility Update; Shareholder Litigation Under Texas Law; Internal Investigations, Auditors Requests, and Privilege Waivers, and Most Difficult Conflicts Issues for Business Lawyers.

The course director is Scott G. Night, Haynes and Boone. Among other speakers are Bruce A. Cheatham, Winstead Sechrest & Minick P.C.; the Hon. Jack Jacobs, justice, Supreme Court of Delaware, and the Hon. E. Norman Veasey, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and former chief justice, Delaware Supreme Court.
