Texas Bar Plans Immigration Institute

The State Bar of Texas has scheduled its Immigration Law Institute 2008.

The conference will take place on Thursday and Friday, February 28 and 29 at the Westin Oaks Hotel, 5011 Westheimer, Houston. Sessions will run from 8:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. on the first day and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the second day.

Speakers will examine topics such as: Brave New World of United States Immigration Laws; Worksite Enforcement: A 20-Year Perspective; Immigration and the U.S. Economy: Where Do We Go From Here; Requesting or Lowering Immigration Bonds; Federal Pre-emption Over State & Local Immigration Laws, and Employment Based Immigration.
