Holland & Knight has strengthened its Financial Services Team with the addition of Taylor Speers as a partner in Dallas. Mr. Speers represents clients on structured finance transactions, with a focus on residential mortgage loan, servicing right and servicing advance financing. He was previously a partner at Winston & Strawn.

Mr. Speers represents clients with respect to purchases and sales of mortgage servicing rights and whole loans; repurchase and other financing facilities (including those collateralized by residential loans, mortgage servicing rights, excess servicing spread, servicing advance receivables, unsecured consumer loans and other residential and consumer loan assets); servicing and origination platform acquisitions; acquisitions of excess servicing strips; and other related matters.

Mr. Speers earned a J.D. degree from Cornell Law School and a B.S. degree from Oklahoma State University.
