Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announces that David F. Levy has joined the firm as a partner in the Firm’s global Tax practice. Dave is based in Weil’s New York office.

Dave joins Weil from another global law firm, where he was a tax partner. He provides counsel on a range of partnership transactions and tax matters, mergers and acquisitions, formations of real estate investment trusts (REITs), UPREIT and DownREIT acquisitions, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, matters arising under the Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act, various types of public and private debt and equity financing transactions, initial public offerings and restructurings.
