Tanya L. Greene joins McGuireWoods’ Complex Commercial Litigation Department as a partner in downtown Los Angeles, bringing extensive experience leading business litigation matters for Fortune 100 clients in heavily regulated industries, including finance, technology, aerospace and petroleum.
Greene defends national corporate clients in securities and shareholder litigation, class actions, and multiplaintiff toxic tort cases in state and federal courts. She represents major banks and private equity firms in cases involving securities fraud and insider trading allegations. She also advises public companies regarding hostile takeover bids, “poison pill” provisions and shareholder proposals.
In addition, Greene advises on internal employment and regulatory investigations, risk management, compliance, corporate governance and corrective measures. She joins McGuireWoods from Kirkland & Ellis.

In 2016, the National Diversity Council named her to its list of the “Top 50 Most Powerful & Influential Women in Law.”
