DLA Piper is pleased to welcome Tanya Greene as a partner in the Litigation Practice, focusing on class actions and complex litigation. She will be based in the Los Angeles office, bolstering the robust litigation practice in the region.
Greene has substantial experience across a broad range of complex commercial matters at the trial and appellate level in California and throughout the country. Her litigation and counseling experience includes work for prominent companies in heavily regulated industries, including finance, technology, aerospace and petroleum.
Greene proactively works with companies in the supply chain of highly regulated, consumer-facing industries to identify and manage their legal risks, develop creative and cost-effective strategies for furthering their business interests, protect brands and preserve consumer goodwill. Her experience includes the litigation and resolution of consumer-related class claims, including contractual disputes, product liability claims, and claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Rosenthal Act, and a range of other state consumer protection statutes.
“Tanya is a respected litigator, and an innovative diversity and pro bono champion. Her impressive skill set will immediately expand our capabilities and meet the demands of our clients with class action and litigation needs,” said Ilana Eisenstein, US chair of DLA Piper’s Litigation Practice.
“We have seen significant growth in our litigation presence in Los Angeles and on the West Coast, and with the ever-increasing risks that our clients face in high-profile, high stakes class litigation in California, Tanya will be an important addition to our talented team. We look forward to supporting her as her practice flourishes,” said Angela Agrusa, DLA Piper’s Los Angeles office managing partner.
