Stradling served as legal advisor to leading ophthalmic company Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in connection with a multi-year Collaboration and Distribution Agreement between the company's U.S. subsidiary, Santen, Inc., and Glaukos Corporation (NYSE: GKOS), pursuant to which Glaukos will become the exclusive distributor of the MicroShunt solely in the U.S. market. Santen is the market leader for prescription ophthalmic pharmaceuticals in Japan and currently sells its products in over 60 countries.
