Stradley Ronon Partner Named To HeadABA Fidelity And Surety Law Committee

Samuel J. Arena, a partner at Stradley Ronon Stevens and Young, LLP, has been named chair of the American Bar Association's Fidelity and Surety Law Committee.

Mr. Arena is chair of Stradley Ronon's fidelity and surety practice group and represents insurance companies in complex fidelity and surety matters, and insurance coverage matters and related disputes. He serves as vice chair of the International Association of Defense Counsel - Fidelity and Surety Committee, and is a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, and the Defense Research Institute.

Two intellectual property (IP) shareholders from the Valley Forge-based law firm RatnerPrestia have joined Stradley Ronon.

Kevin R. Casey and Kevin W. Goldstein joined Stradley Ronon as partners, with Casey serving as chair of the firm's newly created IP practice group.

With almost 20 years of experience, Mr. Casey is well known and respected by clients, attorneys and IP-industry professionals for his handling of all aspects of IP law. Mr. Goldstein has handled various IP matters during his nearly 14-year legal career, focusing on IP litigation.

During his 15 years at RatnerPrestia, Mr. Casey served as lead counsel for international and Fortune 500 companies and other clients engaged in a variety of technical fields. He has written dozens of articles and is active in alternative dispute resolution. Casey has taught IP courses at Temple University School of Law for 10 years.

Mr. Goldstein has been lead counsel in several high profile IP litigations. His practice also includes general client counseling, as well as patent and trademark prosecution. Mr. Goldstein recently served as chair of the IP section of the Delaware State Bar Association. He's active in volunteer efforts on behalf of the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
