Stesha A. Emmanuel Welcomed by Ogletree Deakins in Boston and Expands the Higher Education and Employment Litigation Practices

Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Stesha A. Emmanuel to the firm’s Boston office as a Shareholder. Stesha joins the firm from McCarter & English LLP, where she was a Partner.

Backed by more than a decade of legal experience, Stesha maintains a robust labor and employment law practice. Her success track record in employment litigation includes representing employers against claims of discrimination and retaliation and matters involving non-compete agreements.

Stesha also has extensive experience conducting internal investigations related to allegations of misconduct and compliance violations for large corporations. She also handles investigations under Titles VI, VII, and IX for higher education institutions.

In addition to her client work, Stesha actively provides pro bono representation in her local community. She is a past President of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association and a former Board Director of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts, where she most recently served as Women’s Leadership Initiative Co-Chair. Stesha earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and her B.A. from Brown University.
