State Bar Of Texas Plans Video Replay Of Energy Seminar

The State Bar of Texas is offering a video replay of its 25th Annual Advanced Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Course.

The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, November 15 and 16 at the Hilton Midland Plaza, 117 West Wall, Midland, TX. Sessions run from 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on day one and from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on day two.

Speakers address topics such as: When Operators Get Sued - Defenses and Duties Owed to Non-operators Including Who Pays the Lawyers; Expert Witnesses in Oil and Gas Litigation; New Standards in Estimating Oil and Gas Reserves; The General Land Office as a Royalty Owner: What They Expect, What They Look for; Royalty Calculation and Post-Production Costs; Update on Recent Texas Legislation Affecting Oil and Gas; Survey and Boundary Disputes and Surveyors as Expert Witnesses, and Extraordinary Remedies: Injunctions and Receiverships in Oil and Gas Litigation.

The course director is Dick Watt, Watt Beckworth Thompson & Henneman.
