The State Bar of Texas this month is offering its Fourth Annual Advanced Insurance Law Course.
The two-day program will take place on Thursday and Friday, March 29 and 30 at the Adolphus Hotel, 1321 Commerce Street, Dallas. Sessions will run from 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on day one and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on day two.
Discussion topics will include: Ambiguity and Ensuing Loss After FEISS; Punitive Damages and Other Bad Acts; Anatomy of Default Judgments, Including Conditions; Arbitration in the Insurance Case; Agreements and Assignments Between Plaintiff/Claimants and Defendant/Insureds; Which Policy Applies? The Various Trigger Theories in Texas; Jury Charge Landmines in Insurance Cases: Beyond the PJC, and Top 110 Insurance Code Changes and What They Mean.
