State Bar Of Georgia To Present 18th Annual Winter Seminar

PThe State Bar of Georgia is planning its 18th Annual Winter Seminar.

The event will take place Thursday-Saturday, February 14-16 at the El San Juan Hotel & Casino, 6063 Isla Verde Avenue, Carolina, Puerto Rico. Sessions will run from 8:25 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on day one, from 8:25 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on day two, and from 8:25 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on day three.

Panelists will cover topics including: Current Issues in Employee Benefits and Tax; The Effective Opening Statement: Civil and Criminal; Worker's Compensation and Subrogation; Interlocutory Applications - Why They Are So Difficult to Get Granted; Current Issues in Employment Law; The Causation Key; The Law of the Internet - What Clients Don't Know Could Hurt Them; Jury Selection in Federal and State Civil Cases; Top Ten List of Things to Do and Not Do When Dealing With Corporate Counsel; Mediation Update, and Ethics Panel.
